This is my second time coming to this restaurant and it will not be my last.

The food is delicious, the staff are extremely friendly and will cater to your every need. If you want to adjust the food slightly to suit different spice preference etc they accommodate. On top of that the portions are a great size and plenty of meat in the curries.

Looking forward to my next visit already!

We had a great dinner at Kohinoor restaurant- 3 persons without booking. The dahl and paneer with peas as well as the garlic chilli with lamb were all perfect. Naan freshly baked, too.

Located just at the back of Bow Street Mall so really convenient for parking. I went here with my wife and kids for my wife’s birthday and have nothing negative at all to say. Being a Thursday night I didn’t think we’d need to book but there were quite a few already seated and luckily we were accommodated. The atmosphere is lovely with music playing quietly in the background, lighting dimmed just enough to make the place feel cosy. Service is top notch and you’re not made to feel rushed to order your food like some places. The food itself is delicious. We ordered 3 starters- a platter for 2 plus and extra prawn starter with popodums and dips. Main courses are a good size, borderline too much if you each have a starter. I’m a big eater and I left full. 3 of us walked away with doggy bags. I’ve never been to India, so I’m in no position to say the food is “authentic”, but for me it’s the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to and I’ll 100% be back to try other dishes on their menu.

Food & service are excellent, in my opinion, Kohinoor is the best Indian restaurant in Holywood, we are always made very welcome, our server remembers our order every time..::that’s quality !!
